Unite 4 Life Program Costs

Overhead includes director’s compensation, operating supplies, insurance, and accounting

The Unite 4 Life Help Line is a toll free, 24 hour line that students call when they need someone to talk to, teens can call to get help for a friend, or adults can call for support with a hurting young person.
Unite 4 Life’s goal to have a locally run help line in every area that we serve.
The cost of the help line includes training and coordinating volunteer operators, marketing, and the cost of the phone line.

Our peer support group is a 10 week facilitated small group for hurting students to discuss their issues and be equipped with the coping skills they need.
Unite 4 Life’s goal is to have support groups operating at every school campus we serve as well as other locations in the community.
The cost of each support group includes facilitator’s compensation, facilities expenses, supplies, and marketing.

The parent support group is a facilitated drop in group for parents who are working with hurting children. The group meets every week throughout the year for parents to discuss their situations and to be equipped with tools for working with their children.
Unite 4 Life’s goal is to have one parent support group operating in every city that we serve.
The cost of each support group includes facilitator’s compensation, facilities expenses, supplies, and marketing.

Our mentor program matches hurting students with an adult mentor to support them and walk through life with them. The mentor meets with the student once a week as well as being available for further contact.
Unite 4 Life’s goal is to have a mentoring program operating in every city that we serve.
The annual cost of each mentor program includes training and coordinating adult mentors, case management, and marketing.

The campus club is an extra curricular club for students to discuss the atmosphere of the campus, to initiate projects that will affect positive change on the campus, and to be a safe place for hurting students to check in.
Unite 4 Life’s goal is to have a campus club at every school that we serve.
The annual cost of each club includes marketing, supplies, and campus projects.

The awareness campaign will seek to educate the community about youth depression and suicide as well as connecting the community to the resources that are available for hurting students and their families.
Unite 4 Life’s goal is to have an awareness campaign running in every city that we serve.
The cost of the awareness campaign includes the development and implementation of the campaign (posters, billboards, radio, TV, mailers, on line, etc.).
