Dispelling the myths about youth depression and suicide
What is depression, who gets depressed, and types of depression
How to identify students who are at–risk for depression and suicide (Warning Signs & Risk Factors)
How to create healthy environments for students
How to talk to a hurting student
How to assess the risk level of a student
School policy and protocol regarding hurting students and suicidal situations
Where to refer a potentially at-risk student and how to contact these referrals
