Phase 2 – School–Wide Assembly

A 75 to 90 minute assembly for the entire student body.

We delicately balance the serious information about depression and suicide with humor and storytelling.

Assembly Presents These Topics:

• Types of Depression & Who Gets Depressed
• Warning Signs of Suicide & Depression
• Help Seeking Behavior

Purpose of the Assembly:

• To bring the issue of youth depression and suicide to light for the entire campus.
  • When this issue is not taboo, the students will be more likely to talk about it and ask for help.
• To equip the students with the information they need in a memorable way.
  • We use real stories about real people that resonate with the students.
