Volunteer Training

Volunteer Training is required for all roles that involve working hands–on with students. Administrative and consulting roles do not require training, but we encourage you to attend Part 1 to really catch the heart and vision of Unite 4 Life.

Volunteer Training – Part 1

Part 1 is a Pre–Requisite for All Other Training Sessions

• Intro to Unite 4 Life & Understanding Youth Depression and Suicide (2 hours)

Volunteer Training – Part 2

Each volunteer position has a separate training session. (see below)

Classroom Speakers

Protocol for the classroom, reviewing the curriculum, and tips for the classroom – 1 – 2 hours

• We also have a 90 minute DVD of an actual classroom presentation that you can review on your own time

Mentors

Training program still under development – please fill out an application and complete Part 1 – we will notify you as soon as mentor training begins
